Golden Age Sewing
Vision: To supply lap robes to nursing homes, comforters to Mennonite Central Committee, and blankets for new babies in our congregation.
Description: Golden Age Sewing meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. All ladies that enjoy quilting, both fine and big stitches, and doing lots of knotting are welcome. Lunch is furnished followed by devotions and an enjoyable fellowship time. We also collect receipts from Super Valu grocery store. When many are turned in, a percentage is donated back by the store. Proceeds then go to various needs in the church and community.
