Central Seniors
Vision: This ministry is designed for people 55 years old and older. Our meetings are a time of fellowship and encouragement; a time to experience good food and to spend time with persons who share the same interests and values.
History and Description: Central Seniors started meeting bi-monthly in June 2005. In March 2008, we started meeting for breakfast at the Home Restaurant every 2nd Thursday. One of the specials is “fried mush”. Occasionally, we have a pot luck dinner and play board games. Sometimes we take day trips (Hidden Lake Gardens, Sunshine Children’s Home, and the Anchor Room Bookstore). Sometimes we have a special program.
Get involved: Anyone 55 years or older is welcome. Come and bring a friend on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the Home Restaurant in Archbold! The only time we take reservations is for bus trips and special notice will be made of those. If you have any new ideas, bring them along. Suggestions are welcome.
